Alerts & delivery
How alerts are chosen, filtered and scheduled, and where they arrive.
- How does SentryDock decide what to alert me about?AI reads every story and predicts its market impact — which commodities, bullish or bearish — and filters out off-topic and immaterial news.
- How do I cut noise with alert sensitivity?Turn on the Alert Filter in Settings → Connections and pick Sensitive, Balanced or Strict; use Backtest to preview what would send.
- Will I get spammed with duplicate alerts? No. SentryDock suppresses repeats against the last 30 days and within each run, and every alert carries a verified timestamp.
- How fast are alerts, and how often do you check?SentryDock checks continuously — as often as every few minutes on realtime monitors — and alerts you in seconds to minutes.
- Can I control when alerts arrive (focus hours)?Yes — set your timezone and a daily active window, and choose to throttle, pause or go hourly-only outside those hours.
- Where can I receive alerts?Email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Discourse and X.
- How do I set up email, SMS and browser notifications? In Settings → Notifications, toggle email and browser alerts and verify your phone for SMS.
- Do you send daily briefings?Yes — a 7:00 AM and a 6:00 PM briefing written by your AI analyst, covering only what you follow, each with sources.
