How do I monitor X (Twitter)?
X is useful for officials, executives, journalists and market accounts that post before a story is written up. SentryDock monitors selected public posts — not the entire firehose, and not private accounts.
Be specific. Following “crypto Twitter” as a vibe will drown you. Named accounts plus a brief that says which claims matter will not.
Setup
- Add the public profile or topic your monitor supports.
- Write the brief so replies, jokes and ambient dunking can be excluded.
- Use realtime only if those accounts regularly move a market in-session.
Limits
If an account goes private, or X blocks the fetch, the source will go quiet. Check the profile in a logged-out browser. SentryDock is not an X API reseller and does not need you to bring developer keys for normal monitoring.
