What timezone do briefings use?
The 6:00 and 18:00 times are in your saved timezone. If the profile still says UTC and you live in New York, the email will not arrive at 6:00 Eastern. Set the timezone first, then wait for the next window.
The scheduler looks every 15 minutes and sends when you are within about 30 minutes of 6:00 or 18:00 local time. You should not see more than a quarter-hour of drift in normal operation.
Travel and DST
- If you travel, update the timezone or expect emails at the old local time.
- Daylight-saving changes follow the zone you picked, not a fixed UTC clock.
- A 12-hour minimum gap prevents a morning and a “late morning” duplicate of the same type.
