Does SentryDock read paywalled or private data?
Default: public web, public social, public feeds. If a page needs your personal login or a hard paywall, we will not see it. Some Telegram private channels can be connected when you are authorised — that is you granting access, not us buying a dataset.
We do not resell Factiva, a Bloomberg news API, or similar archives. If a competitor comparison implies otherwise, it is wrong.
If you need paywalled archives
Keep that archive. Use SentryDock for the public local and social layer those archives still miss or price as an enterprise add-on. Connecting a private Telegram channel you are authorised to watch is not the same as licensing a paywalled database — it is you granting access to a source you already have.
What “public” means here
- A logged-out browser can open the page or feed.
- A social account is not locked.
- You did not paste a password into SentryDock to fetch it.
