The short answer
Feedly is the right product if you want an AI-assisted RSS reader: you follow feeds, and Pro+ AI Feeds help rank what to read when you open the app. SentryDock is a different job. It starts at $30/month, watches selected public news and social sources against a written brief, and sends alerts to email, SMS, Slack, Teams or Discord. Inoreader sits closer to Feedly than to SentryDock: its Pro plan is $7.50/month on inoreader.com/pricing and can follow RSS, Google News alerts and public Telegram channels inside a reader. Buy Feedly or Inoreader to keep up on your own schedule. Buy SentryDock when a story landing while you are not reading the folder would cost you money.
SentryDock does not replace Feedly as a reader. It will not give you boards, mute filters, or a full-text archive of every feed you follow. It will watch a brief such as “LNG loading restrictions at named terminals” across supported news, X, Telegram, Reddit, Truth Social and government pages, then page you when something matches.
Inoreader is the RSS product Feedly users most often compare next. It is still a reader, but its published Pro plan includes monitoring feeds, Google News alerts, public Telegram channels and mobile push. That is why this page names Inoreader instead of sending you to a separate /use-cases URL.
How we ranked these tools
We compared the products on the job each is built for: pull reading versus push alerts, which sources you actually get, and whether an individual can buy it without a sales call. Feedly plan names come from Feedly’s official plan documentation. Inoreader prices come from inoreader.com/pricing as of 13 September 2026. SentryDock prices are the live Starter, Pro and Ultra plans on sentrydock.com.
We do not quote Feedly’s live checkout amount here because Feedly shows Pro and Pro+ in local currency on its plans page. Check that page before you buy. We also do not claim SentryDock indexes “every feed on the internet.” Coverage is the sources a monitor is configured to watch.

What Feedly actually is
Feedly’s official plan article describes Free as a basic reader, Pro as extra features and sharing, Pro+ as Feedly AI Feeds plus RSS Builder, and Enterprise as team intelligence products. That is a reading and research stack. AI Feeds analyze articles, reports and social posts for topics you specify, then you still open Feedly to consume them.
Enterprise can add Slack or Teams delivery in a team intelligence workflow. That is a sales-led product, not the $6–$8 reader most “Feedly alternative” searches are about. If your company already runs Feedly Enterprise for threat intel, keep it. SentryDock is not a threat-intel suite.
Where Feedly or Inoreader is the better choice
- You want a cheap daily reading habit across industry blogs, newsletters and RSS. Feedly and Inoreader are built for that and cost less than SentryDock.
- You already have a curated OPML of sources and mainly need deduplication, mute rules and a clean UI.
- Inoreader Pro is enough if you specifically want RSS plus public Telegram channels, Google News keyword alerts and mobile push inside one reader, at $7.50/month per Inoreader’s pricing page.
- You need Feedly Enterprise modules (threat, market or competitive intelligence) for a research team. That is not SentryDock’s product.
Where SentryDock is the better choice
- You need to be interrupted. Feedly is a folder you open. SentryDock is an alert that arrives while you are in a blotter, a chat or away from the screen.
- The first version of the story is often not in RSS: a ministry PDF, a Telegram channel, an X account or a Truth Social post.
- Keyword RSS and Google News alerts are too noisy, and you can write a relevance brief instead of Boolean.
- You want the same monitor on news plus social, with translation, from a published $30/month plan.
Price, stated plainly
SentryDock Starter is $30/month with one real-time monitor. Pro is $100/month with three. Ultra is $300/month with ten. Hourly and daily monitors are unlimited on every plan. Those are the live prices on sentrydock.com as of 13 September 2026.
Feedly documents Free, Pro, Pro+ and Enterprise. Confirm the current Pro and Pro+ list prices on Feedly’s plans page; they display in local currency. Enterprise is quote-based.
Inoreader Pro is $7.50/month on inoreader.com/pricing as of 13 September 2026, with a Custom tier for add-ons and API access. That is the honest cheap reader-plus-monitoring-feeds option. It is still not a Slack/SMS news desk for local-language market events.
