# SentryDock — Full Reference > SentryDock is a monitoring and alerting service for people, teams and assistants. Delegate a standing watch over companies, topics and public sources, then receive relevant results with evidence. This is the extended, machine-readable reference for SentryDock. For the short version see https://www.sentrydock.com/llms.txt Last reviewed: 2026-10-03. ## Agents Paying customers can connect Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or the `sentrydock` command with one key. Helpers can search indexed news, read that account's alerts, and run monitors. Setup: https://www.sentrydock.com/agents MCP: https://www.sentrydock.com/mcp API: https://www.sentrydock.com/api/v1 Docs: https://www.sentrydock.com/api-docs.md ## Standing watches and webhook alerts Connect MCP with OAuth at https://www.sentrydock.com/mcp, or use an API key for MCP, CLI or HTTP. Call account.overview first. Choose or create an authorized recurring monitor with an explicit subject, trigger, sources and schedule. Call delivery.connect with platform "webhook", the user's authorized public HTTPS webhook_url and optional monitor_id. Omit monitor_id for all owned recurring monitors, including future ones. Team monitors require team webhook permission. Store the returned signing_secret securely; it is returned once. The receiving agent host or workflow needs a callback and decides what to run after the event. OAuth alone does not wake a chat assistant. Signed news.alert events contain summaries, all source links, run_id and a stable event ID. Verify the HMAC signature and timestamp, deduplicate by ID and return 2xx quickly. Temporary failures retry over roughly 27 hours; current status and errors are in delivery.get / GET /api/v1/delivery under webhook_deliveries. Recover missed results with alerts.list. Quiet runs and previews do not alert; one-off Predict research and briefings are separate. On plan_required, show the pricing URL to the human; never buy automatically. MCP, CLI and API do not require separate agent subscriptions. ## What SentryDock does SentryDock monitors configured public sources — regional news outlets, ministry and government portals, supported Telegram channels, Twitter/X, Reddit, and Truth Social. On the selected realtime, hourly, or daily schedule it: 1. Checks configured public sources on the monitor's schedule. 2. Translates supported languages into English. 3. Uses AI to judge materiality and filter noise against the user's coverage brief. 4. Delivers a source-linked summary through email, SMS, team chat or a signed HTTPS webhook. Detection timing depends on source access and the selected schedule. The result is a structured, continuously updated feed of relevant developments with links back to the original sources. ## Key facts - Company: SentryDock - Founded: 2024 - Source coverage: Public news sites, social platforms, government portals and RSS feeds - Language coverage: Supported languages with automatic translation - Alert channels: Email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, signed HTTPS webhooks - Source types: News sites, Twitter/X, Telegram, Truth Social, Reddit, government portals, RSS feeds - AI capabilities: Real-time translation, market-impact assessment, noise filtering, daily briefings, prediction - Detection and delivery: Timing depends on source access and the selected realtime, hourly or daily schedule ## Pricing Plans are billed monthly. - Starter — $30/month with 1 realtime monitor. - Pro — $100/month with 3 realtime monitors. - Ultra — $300/month with 10 realtime monitors. - All plans include unlimited hourly and daily monitoring; tiers differ in the number of realtime monitors and prediction depth. A: Google Alerts depends on pages Google discovers and supports web queries. SentryDock also monitors supported public social, government and feed sources, translates supported languages, filters for relevance and delivers alerts through multiple channels. Q: How fast are alerts? A: Timing depends on the source and selected schedule. Webhooks send qualifying monitor results and retry temporary delivery failures; there is no universal publication-to-alert deadline. Q: What can I monitor? A: Any topic described in plain language — commodities, equities, crypto, energy, geopolitics, specific companies, regions, or people — across news sites and social platforms. Q: What languages does it cover? A: Supported languages are translated automatically into English; the original source remains attached. ## Contact - Website: https://www.sentrydock.com - Support: support@sentrydock.com - General: hello@sentrydock.com - Press: press@sentrydock.com - Twitter/X: https://x.com/SentryDock - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/sentrydock
